ANZAC MEMORIAL PARK

Public BBQ

This park is a haven for dog lovers, providing a safe, off-leash area where most pets and their owners are friendly. However, a few issues with owners not effectively controlling their dogs have been observed. It's not just a space for dogs, though. Aesthetic appeal is added with an abundance of roses and breathtaking views of the river Derwent and the large bridge, making it a perfect spot for photography or peaceful meditation. The park also serves as a memorial Anzac park, adding a solemn yet significant atmosphere. While it may not be the first choice for children, it does offer a quiet, clean, and tidy space for smaller kids to play. The setting is beautiful, and one can enjoy watching a cricket game or just relax while taking in the magnificent views of the city, especially during New Year's Eve fireworks. Moreover, the park is well-kept and tidy, making it a great place for family outings or simply sitting back and watching the world go by.
